Delivery Information

Mad-About-Gifts.Com dispatch orders Monday - Friday (excluding Public and Bank holidays) - if using the FREE UK DELIVERY option Delivery will be made within 3 - 10 working days after dispatch. Please note that all delivery time lines are based on Royal Mail and courier published delivery times. Time lines only start once we have dispatched your order. Mad-About-Gifts reserves the right to ship orders via alternate services or courier companies as and when necessary.


To view the delivery cost for your order before checkout, simply add the gifts you require to your shopping basket (you can always remove them later if you change your mind) Then simply visit your basket and select the 'Estimate Delivery' and the actual delivery cost will be displayed before you complete your order.


Once your order is marked as shipped the delivery address can not be changed. Royal Mail - Deliver to Neighbour Policy: Royal Mail have introduced the 'Deliver to Neighbour' policy, which took effect on the 1st October 2012. If a customer is out when Royal Mail try to deliver an item that is too large to fit through their letter box, they will attempt to leave the item with a neighbour. If an item is delivered to a neighbouring property a ‘Something for you’ card should be posted through your letterbox telling you this. If an item is unable to be delivered to the address or a neighbour, a card should be left and the item will be returned to the local Royal Mail Sorting Depot to await collection, or to arrange a re-delivery.

PLEASE NOTE: Royal Mail do forget to leave 'something for you cards' and in 97% parcels are located safely awaiting collection with a neighbour or at the local depot. Items are held at the Sorting Depot for 15 working days and are then returned to sender if not collected. Any household who would prefer not to have any items delivered to a neighbour can opt-out of the service by contacting Royal Mail.  

Standard delivery
Orders are dispatched via Royal Mail and should arrive 1-3 working days after dispatch. Orders weighing over 2kg will be sent by courier and should arrive 3-5 days after dispatch. If in the unusual event your order contains items which are currently out of stock, the available products will be dispatched immediately. As soon as the out of stock item becomes available it will be dispatched at no extra charge. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery times. At certain busy times of the year delays can be expected.


Free Delivery:
Mad-About-Gifts.Com offer free delivery to UK mainland addresses on all items in our store when your order is above £30.00. European delivery cost is calculated based on volumetric weight of the items ordered. To check the delivery cost simply add the items you want to your shopping basket (you can always remove them later if you change your mind), then simply visit your basket and select the 'Estimate Delivery' and the actual delivery cost will be displayed before you complete your order. At certain busy times of the year delays can be expected.


Worldwide - Approximately 10 - 15 working days (weight restrictions in place)
Worldwide delivery cost is calculated based on volumetric weight of the items ordered. To check the delivery cost simply add the items you want to your shopping basket (you can always remove them later if you change your mind), then simply visit your basket and select the 'Estimate Delivery' and the actual delivery cost will be displayed before you complete your order. At certain busy times of the year delays can be expected.
Important: Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches its destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.


Which countries do you deliver to?
We currently deliver to the UK, Europe, and most Worldwide destinations, however, some areas are not covered due to current shipping costs, individual Country and weight restrictions that are currently in place. If you find the country that you wish to ship to is not appearing on our countries list, please contact us here will endeavour rectify this for you. We do not deliver to overseas PO Box numbers.

Can I have my goods sent to a different delivery address?
Customers who require delivery to either a work address or to the address of a friend or relative, we have therefore enabled our checkout pages to offer this service, it is IMPORTANT that you give us your billing address too as orders cannot be processed without it, when you go through the checkout process please ensure you complete both the billing address and the delivery address if different from your billing address.


What happens if I'm not there to take delivery of my order?
For Free UK delivery and Standard delivery customers will find that in most countries a calling card is left to inform you of an attempted delivery. Using the details on the card you can either re-arrange delivery or collect the parcel from the local sorting office. Occasionally, the postal worker forgets to leave a calling card, if your parcel is not delivered within the expected delivery time please visit your local depot to see if they are holding the parcel for collection.
